1983  Nauticat 44  Ketch    Sojourner

Sojourner is regretfully for sale but we know she'll bring as much pleasure to her new owners as she has to us. She's proven herself by taking us safely to Alaska and Mexico. This Nauticat cutter-rigged ketch (4 sails) is a well-maintained yacht ready for either cruising or living aboard and is located on the north Washington coast in the amazing cruising grounds of the Pacific NW's San Juan Islands and Canada's Gulf Islands. There is a very comfortable walk-around queen berth located in the master aft cabin with a separate shower from the aft head. Newly upholstered cushions, drapes, carpet, and polyurethaned interior make her look almost new! Across from the forward head is the galley that has Corian countertops, a 2-burner propane stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, and an add'l freezer under the U-shaped dinette. Equipment includes VHF radio, hailer, EPIRB, Autohelm ST7000,  Garmin 128 GPS,  Icom IC-M710 SSB radio (compatible for sail mail), Furuno radar, Sealand RO desalinator, Heart inverter, a feathering Max prop, dripless shaft seal, and lots of spare parts. The 135hp Ford Lehman diesel engine has 3,911 hours on it and the Onan 6.5kw generator 504 hours. Ground tackle includes a windlass, a 30kg Bruce anchor with 300 ft of chain, and a Fortress 21# anchor with 50 ft of chain and 250 ft of rope. Sojourner has a customized swim platform and davits to carry a polyethylene Bullfrog dinghy which is powered by a 15 hp Yamaha motor. Her exterior teak handrails and pilothouse trim have been varnished, new bottom paint rolled on, and the hull's been waxed and buffed so she's ready to go. These owners are motivated to move out! UPDATE: A new Webasto HL60 heater has been installed on Sojourner as of October, 2008, to keep you warm and toasty in colder, inclement weather. 2004  Nauticat 44

1998  Nauticat 44    (Hull #152)  Motu

MOTU is entered by a sliding door on stb side of pilothouse (there is a similar door on the port side for occasional use). Large U-shaped settee on port side with dining-sized teak table allows plenty of room for crew, guests, and skipper to be in pilot house while cruising or in port. Stb side of pilot house has the inside steering station, instrumentation, excellent visibility, lots of storage, hanging locker, and a large aft-sliding hatch. The master cabin is aft with center-line queen berth, enclosed head and shower with tile floor, full-size hanging locker, good lighting, ventilation and storage cabinets. Forward of the pilothouse and down two steps to port is a private cabin with single berth over double berth, hanging locker and plenty of storage. Galley is opposite with approx. 7 ft. of counter space with under counter storage. Cabinets and two banks of drawers allow plenty of room for food and cooking equipment. 1982  Nauticat 44  Ketch/Cutter    Sea Angel

A major refit in 2004/05 included the following new/ upgraded equipment: standing/running rigging; transmission; engine mounts; fuel system with dual primary fuel filters, vacuum gauge & selector lever; fuel polishing system; port side fuel tanks;120 volt wiring & Panel Tronics control panel; Village Marine Tech AC water maker; 25" SharpAquos flat screen TV; main and mizzen sails; Quest VHF w/remote; Icom-M802 SSB; Simrad AP21 auto pilot; steering ram; navigation lights; SS bow pulpit and a KISS wind generator. New interior teak decks were done at that time.

In 2008 the Ford 120 HP diesel was completely rebuilt; an 8KW Phasor diesel generator was installed as was a PMY shaft seal. In 2009 a new waste holding tank was installed and Corian counter tops and sinks were installed in the galley and heads.

We have been cruising Sea Angel full time and since October of 2005. We have sailed her from Maine to Key West, Florida West Coast, Bahamas, Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. This Nauticat 44 has proven to be reliable, sea worthy and a fast passage maker. We are currently (9/09) in Atlantic City and will leave to go south later this month.

1980  Nauticat 33    (Hull #735)  S/V Valhalla

After many happy years living aboard and a few even cruising, we are now selling our Nauticat 33, Valhalla. She is a shoal draft (4'1") full keel version.

There are many updates (new galley countertop, new galley booth, new laminate flooring throughout, etc.) and although far from a project boat, there are details that are left for the buyer to personalize. The cushions in the galley and desk area are not upholstered, although the foam has been purchased and cut. You can choose your own colors and fabric.
